Italiensk filmturisme – Program forår 2019
Giuliana Holm er født og opvokset i Norditalien. 24 års undervisningserfaring i italiensk i Danmark.
Berømte sicilianske filmkulisser v. Cand.mag. i filmvidenskab, Giuliana Holm.
En film location er det sted, hvor en scene optages, når det ikke er i et studie. En location kan have symbolsk betydning og skaber stemning. Lær Italien at kende gennem en rejse i italiensk films kulturelle temaer og locations.
Foredragene foregår på dansk, men det italienske sprog benyttes. Forudsætninger på basisniveau i italiensk er en fordel, når filmen gennemgås, men det er ikke et krav.

Området: Cefalù & Palermo, Nordvest-Sicilien
Oscar vinderen Mine aftener i paradis fra 1989 fortæller historien om en drengs passion for filmen. Perioden er efterkrigstiden, hvor faderløse Salvatore kommer om bag filmfremviseren i den lokale biograf i et lille siciliansk fiskerleje. Denne oplevelse ender i en karriere som filminstruktør.
Filmen er blandt andet optaget på Cefalùs gamle mole og på pladsen foran middelalderborgen i Castelbuono, som ligger ca. 30 km fra Cefalù. Det kendte torv fra filmen, hvor biografen ligger, er i byen Palazzo Adriano, som ligger inde midt på Sicilien syd for Palermo.

Området: Siracusa, Sydøst-Sicilien
Filmen Malèna fra år 2000 udspiller sig i Siracusa på Sicilien under Anden Verdenskrig. Vi ser de meget bemærkelsesværdige lokaliteter Domkirkepladsen Piazza Duomo i Siracusa, som filmens hovedperson passerer til fods. Der er desuden optaget scener i nabobyerne Noto, Messina og Taormina.

Området: Pollara på øen Salina – de Æoliske Øer
Postbudet fra 1994 er en intens og tankevækkende film, som handler om, hvordan de mennesker, man møder på sin livsbane, kan åbne helt nye verdener. Landsby- og bodegascenerne er indspillede på den lille ø Procida ved Napoli, mens resten af filmen er optaget i Pollara på Salina, som er en af de 7 vulkanøer nord for Sicilien, De Æoliske Øer. Nerudas lyserøde villa med havudsigt ligger mellem kirken og den lille havn. Fra den lille havn med de ejendommelige grotter kan man også se stranden ved klippevæggen. Ud over vandet er der en udsigt til naboøen Filicudi og den massive klippeblok Il Faraglione.
